Well I’m not sure if this is real deal, but sources at Gizmodo revealed these Nokia N96 spy shots a few days ago. Since the N96 is an upgraded version of the N95, we can expect most features to be present in this one too, including the 5 megapixel camera and Carl Zeiss Optics. The next question is what’s new in the N96? Let’s hope they’ve taken care of all the flaws in the N95, including battery life and who knows a larger hard drive! What’s for sure is the all new black gloss finish with metal sides and from the pictures, it seems the N96’s bit slimmer than its predecessor. So watch this space… you’ll get more updates on the N96 when we get them. Do check out the other pics Read the rest of this entry »

Hello everyone! Its been sometime since there’s been an update from my side. So here it goes. I recently stumbled on Sanyo newest projector and this is what I found. Sanyo has built TWO-LAMP projectors, the LP-XF70 and widescreen version, the LPWF20. These projectors can emit upto 9000 lumens, the brightest in its class. They use the Active maintenance filter system to reduce cost and time in maintainence. I never knew a filter could do all that.
Anyway when you say 9000 lumens, that means it should take up a lot of power to do so, but thanks to new technologies from Sanyo, the electricity consumption on this model is 37% less compared to the existing model, which means 160% increase in light efficiency. The dimensions are 530mm ( width), 267.5mm (height) and weighs 27.6 kgs. Hmm, when I had the first look, I thought this projector is way beyond the normal size, which ofcourse some of the old industrial ones did. But I’m assuming the model in the above image is of a considerably smaller build. The Sanyo projectors are expected to go on sale in Japan from early January 2008.

Sony’s intoduced an all new feature in the cybershot DSC - T200. Apart from the usual face detection that detects faces, the new DSC T-200 can detect smiles and takes a picture automatically. To start, just choose the Smile shutter from the scene selection, then press the shutter fully on the subject to be taken. The camera then detects the smiling faces and closes the shutter automatically saving the picture. This way you’ll never miss those smiles you wish you had captured. You can adjust the intensity of smiles of your subject by setting the smile sensitivity levels. A ” high” setting would detect a faint smile while a “low” setting would capture a laugh. You could manually choose your smiling subject by clicking the face on the touchscreen or let the camera do it for you. The smile shutter works with both horizontal and vertical formats and works with multiples subjects within a frame. Check the out the specs and images after the jump. Read the rest of this entry »
