I never saw this coming from Nokia, but they’ve done it and called it the N82 (not officially announced). It looks like a serious rival for Sony Ericsson’s K850i. Even though Sony’s always known to add more features than Nokia , the N82 seems to be loaded with a little more than what the K850i offers. We aren’t sure of the final list of features, but here’s the rumor list according to those at engadget. The N82, will supposedly feature a quad band GSM, HSDPA, WiFi, GPS, FM tuner, Bluetooth, a 3.5mm audio jack,a 2.4 inch QVGA display with auto rotating like in the iPhone, microSD expansion and of course a 5 megapixel camera, with Carl Zeiss lens and xenon flash. For those of you who are looking towards getting the K850i, wait and see what Nokia has to offer both in terms of features and competitive pricing. Brand loyalists, don’t bother.

Motorola’s has added U9 to the music series, giving users a whole new way to see, feel and hear the stylish side of music. The Moto U9 boasts of a slick form factor, Bluetooth 2.0, Crystal Talk Technology that automatically adjusts audio to ensure clear calls even in a noisy environment, external touch sensitive music controls and floating, animated screensavers that appear on the external OLED display. Moto U9 allows the user one-touch access to its music library and pauses them for incoming calls.

Samsung and Beyonce, launched a limited version of the Samung ultra music phone F300, the B’Phone. The F300 from Samsung sports a dual-sided design to optimize music capabilities, with an MP3 player on one side and a phone on the other side. Each side has corresponding buttons also. So what’s the B’phone got? For starters, it comes in burgundy and gold to complement the Beyonce style. It comes preloaded with a special Beyonce start-up screen, premium videos, photo gallery and music all from Beyonce. It’s also got an exclusive childhood song from Beyonce performed at age 10. We expected the iPhone to reach UK by Christmas, according to our previous post. Apple has surprised us with its iPhone launch today in London. Apple has announced O2 as their carrier. Unfortunately UK is also getting the same iPhone launched in US with no sign of 3G. Apple claims that the battery life on the iPhone still isnt substantial for 3G. Here are some of the hightlights from today’s conference.

For those of you who didnt know ( including me), you can now make and recieve calls using your iPod with the BlueEye. As you can see in the image above, the accessory is very familiar, just like the controller that came with the 2nd or 3rd generation ipods.
