There are hunderds of iPod speakers and music systems out there, but this one is special.
Introducing the Porto from Audiopro. It’s got everything a portable iPod should have and no frills, that makes it easier to use, and less functions to keep in mind. Design wise, its got a retro look with a leather covered cabinet, sounds as good as many other systems and not to forget a built-in rechargeable battery.
The Porto is perfect for outdoors and with 8 hours of battery life and can be charged with a 12V DC adaptor even from your car. Hmm, so what else has it got, that makes it more appealing than the other iPod systems.
The Porto cabinet and handle is covered with handstitched leather, available in three colours, red, black and white. It’s got a universal docking station for all iPods and 5 special adaptors to accomodate the latest ones as well.
There’s a radio with a retractable antenna, so you got a transistor and iPod player all-in-one, but thats not all. You can connect other sources, like your DVD player, MP3 players, game consoles and even your mobile phone into the available dual audio inputs (line-in).
Wondering how you could watch those podcasts and movies stored in your iPod? Porto can do that too! It’s got a S-video out, so connect it to a large screen and enjoy!
They’ve also added a remote, with basic controls just incase you get far away from the Porto.
Now coming to the sound. The Porto features a special technology from EmbracingSoundTM that gives you stereo sound coming from a dual configuration of tweeters and an acoustical divider. The base is powered by a specially developed racetrack shaped woofer. But if you aren’t satisfied with the thump, there’s provision to connect it to a external powered sub woofer. Still hungry for more. Head to its main site and do let us know if you get one!
