Some of us would like to understand what features these brands have to offer, especially when your in the market for a special feature that all of them posses. The reasons could be subjective; some would look at the overall set of features that would make it a perfect combination, perhaps ease of use, form factor and size or just a digital camera replacement. While some of us are ardent brand loyalists and would blindly go for the brand and not the features/ performance. Here’s some information that could change or firm your decision:
Nokia N95
One of the first phones to reach the market with a 5 Megapixel camera and many other interesting features such as GPS, HSDPA support, WiFi and so on. But with so many power hungry features, Nokia forgot to support it with a sustainable battery good enough for all of them. With the new N95 8GB music edition, they’ve supposedly rectified these problems. Here’s a picture taken with the Nokia N95. Courtesy mobilereview. Head over to mobile review for an in depth review.

Sony Ericsson K850i
This is Sony’s contender in the 5 megapixel category. Equipped with Cybershot features the K850i has got real nice features to make it an ideal camera replacement. It’s still yet to hit the market, but here’s a picture taken with the K850i and N95 for you’ll to compare! Wanna know more..mobile review’s got an in depth review on the K850i.

LG Viewty KU990
Coming from LG is their flagship model called the LG Viewty KU990. It is the successor of LG PRADA and though it resembles the iPhone, the LG viewty has got much more to offer. Equipped with a 5.1 megapixel camera, a huge touchscreen display and an array of features, this one looks like a serious rival to both Sony and Nokia. Check out a picture taken with the LG viewty and compare it with ones taken with Samung’s g600 and Nokia N95 thanks to phonearena.

Samsung SGH G600
Another contender in the 5 mega pixel category is the G600 from Samsung. One of the most intriguing fact about this phone, is that they’ve cramped in a 5 megapixel camera into a very slim (14.9mm thick) slider form factor, making it the slimmest 5 megapixel camera phone among the rest and not to forget, the style factor also makes Samsung stand out! Unfortunately it lacks 3G capabilities, but otherwise it’s got everything you’d normally want in a multimedia phone. Here’s a picture taken with the Samsung G600 from mobile review. Head over to get an in depth review of G600’s camera performance.

I agree! the N95 is by far the most feature driven model on the list, but somehow I’m not that happy with the image processing done on Nokia. It brightens colours by itself. That way the K850i from Sony Ericsson is equipped with a better camera that reproduces better pictures.
