Halo 3 could be one of the biggest releases this year for Microsoft. BBC’s got the numbers to prove it! Guess what! It has set the record for the most revenue earned in 24 hours by an entertainment product, topping figures set by film Spiderman 3 and this is only in the United States, the count in UK hasn’t been included.
Last Monday night, gamers had queued up to get their copies. There were reports of scratched discs, but Microsoft has offered to replace them for FREE!
More than 1.4 million people have gone online to play the title since its launch and more than four million online games of Halo 3 were logged in the last 24 hours.”Halo 3 has become a pop-culture phenomenon,” said Shane Kim, corporate vice president of Microsoft Game Studios, in a statement. With these numbers I’m sure Halo3 is out to set trends in the gaming industry. Let’s see what else is store for us this year…

yes, halo3 sure has been one of the most anticipated game ever, but for folks like me who don’t have an x-box will be deprived of halo 3 for a while. but while digging whether its gonna hit the pc gamers, this is what i find.

What!!!! Halo 3 isn’t available for the PC. What about PS3? or is it going to be within the family( Microsoft)?

the way things are turning out, i have my doubts whether it will be available on PS3 ever..
may b in a few years it might be in PC
