Panasonic has recently joined the digital SLR race with other giants like Canon and Nikon, not to forget Sony has also joined the club with its alpha series. Here’s what Panasonic’s got to offer! Introducing the Lumix DMC-10. This is Panasonic’s second DSLR camera, the first being Lumix DMC L1.

This one packs a hefty 10.1 megapixels, and boasts a swiveling 2.5-inch LCD, along with Panasonic’s Venus Engine III image processor, a “Supersonic Wave Filter” dust reduction system, and some new for DSLR features like “face detection” and “intelligent ISO control.” The lens is from LEICA featuring a D VARIO-ELMAR 14-50mm / F3.8-5.6 ASPH. / MEGA OIS. I’m sure there’s a range of lenses on its way to Leica to give you more flexibility. The Panasonic Lumix DMC-10 is expected to hit the markets this October with an MSRP of $1,300.
