The Caparo T1. Developed by the engineers that help create the McLaren F1, the Caparo T1 is a new uncompromised and unconstrained sports car that sets new standards in performance, driver experience and enjoyment. The Caparo T1 is a track day and road going 2 seater sports car using aerospace and high formula composite racing technologies while at the same time providing race bred safety.

The idea behind the T1 was to create a street legal car that would make the Enzo slow witted on the race track. The first production car with 1000bhp per tonne and also save the earth with its lightweight construction techniques which would one day cut fuel consumption in ordinary cars.

I wouldn’t say the “fastest road car” because it reaches “only” 322km/h and the Bugatti Veyron reaches 407km/h

Thanks for the tip! Well the Veyron and Caparo are on different leagues. If you check the built ratio, the Caparo is a V8 and the Veyron a V16. I would call it a automotive marvel. But guess what its the fastest V8 on the roads…
