Yes, Vista is probably yet fully baked as a new OS. With time it would gain more acceptance as a gamer friendly OS as well. Vista could be rated as follows.

Wanted to drop in after seeing your post to me on SpicyPage…
Great site man.. really think its top notch. As for the post, I am right there with you… Ubuntu is excellent. But don’t give up on Vista yet. After the service pack they are rumored to release in Q1 of 2008, Vista will improve drastically. Or at least we all hope… So keep your eyes on the horizon…
