Fujifilm’s all new compact digital camera has got an array of new features making it quite an attractive option for those looking for a point and shoot camera. The Fujifilm FinePix F50fd comes loaded with 12 megapixels and that too in a compact casing.

Face detection 2.0, one of the coolest features aboard the F50fD detects a wide range, making sure every face is clear and bright. It also finds faces even if tilted or in a full profile, and optimizes focus and brightness. The Super CCD delivers a stunning 12 megapixel resolution, enabling you to crop or enlarge part of your picture without loss of quality. It employs a dual image stabilization system to give crisp results every time you take a shoot a picture in low lights. It also sports a 2.7″ LCD to view the photos at much better clarity than other conventional cameras.

It supports both xD-Picture Cardâ„¢ and SD memory cards. Portrait Enhancer Mode, i-Flash Intelligent Flash, Full Manual Photographic Control, GUI Micro Thumbnail, Special Scene and Blog Modes and xD / SD / SD-HC Compatible slots are the other goodies bundled into the camera.
