Looks like Sony Ericsson’s been busy for a while and has a whole new line up ready for launch! Whether you’re looking for a brighter screen, slim form, more mega pixels, trendy looks or just more space to store your tracks, you’re sure to find one here that suits you and your needs. Find out what these new phones have got to offer.
Sony Ericsson K530i is compact and efficient. If you’re looking for a compact phone that can access email and the web at 3G speeds, then this could be the one for you. It also packs a 2.0 Megapixel camera and a front camera for video calls. The K530i comes in warm silver and thunder black and weighs only 92g. Other features includes a FM radio, Access Netfront Web browser and RSS feeds and a weather application that gives you 3 day forecast where ever you are.
The Sony Ericsson Z320i is a camera clamshell with clean, classic looks with a pinch of retro design. This is a phone for those who’d like to reflect their mood and style constantly. You can create your own personalized covers or upload your photo or design with StlyeUpCovers or simply choose from the pre-designed styles.
The Z320i boasts a cool icon display on it’s front display. It light’s up when you need them
and hidden when you don’t. The four icons indicate new message, missed call and silent. It’s loaded with a 1.3 mega pixel camera, and lots of pre-installed games to keep you busy.
The Sony Ericsson T250i has got the looks and its all in brushed metal, meant for those who want to make a statement. It’s got a cool navigation key with spin effect. In the kit comes a stereo kit to enjoy it’s built in FM radio.
And also get others’ attention with its polyphonic ringtones and amuse yourself with loads of pre-installed games.
The Sony Ericsson T650i reminds me of T610, but this one looks way better. What’s really cool is it’s illumination effects. Now this one’s for those who want a fusion of design and technology. The T650i boasts a scratch-resistant, crystal clear mineral glass screen, 3.2 mega pixel camera, 3G capabilities, real time video streaming and much more and only weighing just 95g. In the box you’ll also find an elegant desk stand, a stereo headset, USB cables, software and a pouch.
The Sony Ericsson Z250i is another cool camera clamshell, built for those in mind who likes to keep life simple but has got a flare for design. The information display on the front panel indicates the battery status and caller ID. Send messages and pictures with ease with its large keypad. It comes with a 0.3 mega pixel camera and can store up to 200 pictures.
The Sony Ericsson W910i is a serious audiophile’s phone. This Walkman®, slim slider phone has got
all the features and more for someone who wants a true music player and phone built into one. Change your tunes on the new W910i by shaking it. Yup! that’s right, the W910i uses Shake control to pick a song or create a playlist by mood by the flick of your wrist. And that’s not all, the W910i lets you view the screen, both horizontally or vertically depending on your choice. It comes in two variants, hearty red and noble black and weighs only 86g. It’s also loaded with 2.0 megapixel camera and 3G capabilities for faster access on the web.
The Sony Ericsson K850i is one phone, that could make digital camera’s with 5 mega pixels obsolete. This one’s my personal favorite. I was looking forward to a phone with a good camera and I believe this is the one. It’s got the best of both worlds. The K850i is loaded with a Cybershot® camera with 5 mega pixels. Apart from the great camera, it sports an automatic lens cover, xenon flash, auto focus for great sharp pictures and a scratch-free crystal screen to view them.
Other features include 3G capabilities with HSDPA and has M2® (Memory Stick Micro) support for storing those great photos. Just like the iphone, rotate the K850i horizontally or vertically and the screen follows.
The Sony Ericsson W960 is a fusion between a Walkman phone and a business phone. Imagine having about 8000 songs at your fingertip. Yup! this one’s got the space. Loaded with 8GB, there’s room for all your tastes. You can also view TV quality videos on the W960 and that’s not all. Sync and view your favorite podcasts to view on the go.
Business phone? I call it a business phone as well. Connect to the internet using its 3G capabilities or Wireless Lan. If you’re accustomed to using a stylus to write emails, the W960’s got that too. It also comes with handwriting recognition as well. Another cool feature is the Walkman® touch player. Play the song of your choice, by flicking through their album art using your fingers. Now does this feature sound familiar ?
So there it is, 8 new mobile phones from Sony Ericsson for you to choose from.

the K850i seems to take the cake among the rest listed here, and with HSDPA it sure is future proof. eager to check out the other specs of this phone, i believe *if* it comes out with GPS and *if* rightly priced it could probably give the N95 a run for its money..

I sure love the K850i. I could do without the GPS, but WLan would be great if they put it in!

leina, irrespective of phone model, you’ll first need to get your internet settings from your mobile service provider. the method of getting these settings (gateway/dns/access point …) will vary between providers, a few will either give out their settings in the form of a message and a few will have them preloaded on the sim card. we would recommend you call your mobile service provider and choose a desired subscription plan and obtain the settings.
hope this helps.
